I need help trying to get a job.

hi. i can’t believe im using this app for this. i’m 17(F) and looking to get my first job. the only place my dad is agreeing to is the walmart closest to his job, for safety reasons. they have openings and i’ve applied on the website many times but i want to find a way to actually get the job. should i call the walmart and tell them i’ve applied? would that make them look at it? i’m sorry that i joined this and am not an employee, but i want to be one.
