Lawn waste pickup

I just moved and have been cleaning up the yard. From the sanitation website it seems like they pick up once a week. I’m a little confused how much and what I can put out. It looks like where I live they come on Wed. I don’t want to be that idiot that can’t follow rules and this is all new for me.

Can I use plastic garbage bags or do I have to use special lawn bags or a city provided cart?
