should i push for early intervention
my son is displaying what i would think is signs of autism but im not sure. currently driving myself crazy in internet death holes. He is very social and there are a lot of things he does do but there are a lot of concerns. I also feel like he may have regressed. He was clapping on command he no longer does that- he does still clap here and there but no longer when prompted. Although this isn’t all day everyday it is something i notice him do most days- it’s also not really long him doing that but he DOES it. I’m really just looking for advice, if your child has done these things, and someone to talk to-like i said i don’t think i’ve slept longer than 2 hours for over a month now. I have a video from when he was 5 months old where i say hey and he makes the heh noise mimicking me. he no longer does this. -he grinds his teeth -he bites me -he holds objects up with one hand and stares at it- this isn’t long but he will lift it up put it down and lift it up again like three times in a row -i thought this was involuntary movement at first went to emergency room for an eeg- all clear but in the notes it does say about it may be stereotypey?
- he growls more than babbles -he did start babbling but it’s not frequent
