The waiting room dmt

Hi everyone so I’ve dabbled with dmt a little (maybe 15 times) and I was wondering if anyone here can relate. So I took several hits from a vape that’d been mixed with dmt. I’ve used the same vape with the same tank and mixture in it for a few trips at this point. All of which were wonderful, then I hit what I’ve been told is the waiting room? It’s nothing but darkness and random blue lightning strikes, followed by coming too in my body again. Does anyone know what this place is? Or has anyone been through a similar experience?
