Tiger Catastrophe

Tiger Catastrophe is the first quadrant of the Sunstone Calendar (Fig. 15.4.1.0.1-9). The word Tiger indicates that the initiator of this Ollin movement is no ordinary, representing Xiuhtecuhtli (Turquoise Prince). He is a protagonist in Mexican Codex, born around 1255 C.E., of a royal family. This article translates Nahuatl word Xiuhtecuhtli as Turquoise Prince, meaning “heir to sun”. The turquoise stone is the one on Mexican flag that symbolizes the Middle Earth (Tenochtitlan; as in Figure 3) underneath the pattern, representing sun god.

According to legend, from his childhood, the prince's parents and teachers encouraged him to sacrifice himself for the recreation of sun god (as shown in Figure 15.4.1.0.1-4). After the prince turned thirty, he became Xiuhtecuhtli (i.e., Turquoise Prince). This signified that he had attained the status of a Bodhisattva above the eighth land (i.e., he had achieved Buddha, as described in Chapter 16 Path Crux). Moreover, he had earned father's trust and became the heir to the throne of Nahuatl Kingdom.

In other words, Xiuhtecuhtli (i.e., Turquoise Prince), who was around 30 to 40 years old, already possessed the knowledge and political capital to launch an Ollin Movement. Figure 5 shows Xiuhtecuhtli secretly carrying out his plans during the movement. Figures 6 and 7 show him burning himself to create sun. In Figure 7, the person's head is at the bottom, indicating that he has died. His buttocks are on the sun, indicating that he sacrificed himself to recreate sun (God). Xiuhtecuhtli's remains were buried at the top of Great Floating Painted Tower in Middle-Earth District of Mexico City (Mexico-Tenochtitlan, as shown in Figure 8).

According to legend, after a warrior dies, his soul follows sun for four years and then resides permanently within a hummingbird. Thus, Xiuhtecuhtli was given the juristic fame of Huitzilopochtli (i.e., Hummingbird of the Left, as shown in Figures 9 and 10).

Time Estimates

Readers should be aware that Mexican Codex created by Xiuhtecuhtli has been destroyed by Spanish Hungry Ghosts. In 1925, Mexicans chose March 13, 1325, to celebrate the 600th anniversary of the founding of Tenochtitlan City. According to statistical calculations by Chinese Buddhist Association on the enlightenment ages of many gold boys and Jade Girls, the age at which Shakyamuni Buddha (Gold Boy) and Guanyin Bodhisattva (Jade Girl) attained enlightenment was 38.7. Based on the two previous accounts, this book estimates that Tlaloc (Gold Boy, Adam) and Chalchiuhtlicue (Jade Girl, Eve) were born around 1285 CE, while Xiuhtecuhtli was born around 1255 CE.

Briefing the Process of Creating Gods

In 1285 CE, Xiuhtecuhtli, who was in his thirties, voluntarily sacrificed himself to create sun (God) under the guidance of his father, King Iztapaltotec (Sword-face), and once again launched the Ollin Movement. This indicates that he once again shattered the soul stone of human and designed the Gold Boy and Jade Girl, creating the Gold Boy from the unconscious contaminated part and the Jade Girl from the preconscious characteristics (as shown in Figure 15.4.1.0.2-1, 2; see 10.9 Trinity of God).

Xiuhtecuhtli and his wife, Coatlicue, selected and nurtured 500 gold boys and 6 jade girls. As the gold boys and jade girls grew up through the trials and tribulations of life (as shown in Figures 3 and 4), Xiuhtecuhtli selected a pair of Gold Boy and Jade Girl and bound them together with Favor Grudge Love and Revenge, making their lives interdependent like Adam-sense (i.e., polluted part of unconsciousness) and Eve-sense (i.e., preconsciousness), forming a “mutually dependent” relationship (as shown in Figures 5, 6, 7, and 8).

At last, after the death of Xiuhtecuhtli around 1325 CE, Gold Boy Tlaloc and Jade Girl Chalchiuhtlicue married, forming a new sun (God), namely the new Ometeotl dual-bodied god (or Buddha). After their marriage, Chalchiuhtlicue and Tlaloc collaborated on the writing of Mexican Codex (as shown in Figure 9), becoming the primogenitors of the new Mexican nationality, while Xiuhtecuhtli naturally became the god of Mexicans.
