Am I over reacting to my boyfriend heart reacting another girl’s picture?

First off..i understand guys as well as girls are gonna find other people attractive. How they respond to the is what matters. I was on FB & this girl came across my suggested ppl & I noticed my boyfriend was friends with her. I checked out her profile & she posted a couple of pictures that were cute & noticed he heart reacted to them. I asked him about it & he said “She is an old friend. She is good looking. But I liked her pictures bc she was showing off her weight loss. I could never see myself even chasing her. I have you. I only want you.” He also said it’s been a minute since they’ve even talked. I asked him if I was prettier than her & he said “You’re wayyy more gorgeous & you’re stunning”

Now in the past..he has actually reached out to 2 girls complimenting their appearance & saying they looked good. 1 girl he said he messaged bc she was posting workout videos to her snap & he was just telling her good job, she looked great. The other girl posted a picture of her in a dress & he reached out telling her he liked her dress. I explained to him how I felt like it was crossing a little bit of a boundary for me. He apologized & said he didn’t realize how it could be perceived as flirty & wouldn’t happen again. He ended up blocking both girls & hasn’t reached out to any since that I’m aware of.

In this situation is him hearting another girls picture okay? Am I valid in feeling a little uncomfortable? Or could I be overreacting a bit?
