VLS test firing and questions about timing

My current timing for launches is each launcher begins 1 second after the one before it. For the sequence, open hatch, 3 seconds, shoot on, 4 seconds, shoot off and hatch closed. Should ai modify the timing to be a half second more or less than the current timing to improve the launch cycle? I welcome any suggestions and advice. I am using the round hatch and the Knightfall Armory 800mm Torpedo launcher, 10 of each.
