Building proposal automation for RIAs — pitfalls we should avoid?
I'm the co-founder of an early-stage startup focused on wealth management. We believe there is an opportunity in proposal generation for RIAs.
The pain we see: proposals can take hours, involve 3–5 tools, and create compliance risk. We think AI can reduce this to minutes while improving consistency.
For those of you who have built in fintech before:
- What pitfalls should we be careful of (compliance, integrations, workflow adoption)?
- Where have you seen advisor-facing software stumble most in rollout?
- Are there any “must-have” integrations you’d prioritize first?
We’re trying to avoid classic missteps by learning from others in the space. Any perspective appreciated.
