The Latest Netflix Cancellation Makes Zero Sense

I'll say it again, it simply doesn't make sense to watch new Netflix dramas. Netflix cannot be trusted not to cancel good shows without being upfront about the timeline and number of seasons, and making no effort to tie together a proper ending. I stopped watching shows on Netflix without seeing that there's at least a third season planned. I'll watch limited series.

I also pause Netflix for 4 to 6 months at a time and let titles accumulate.

Netflix keeps canceling good shows. Personally I got really tired of them canceling shows I invested my time in. They're stuck in a vicious cycle, and whatever data they're using to make decisions is only going to get worse because they're pushing people to make decisions such as this one... Which is not to watch any Netflix series that isn't at least in its third season.
