Do you look for financing when paying a home/room rental deposit or when spending large amounts for home renovation?

Ask Malaysians :blurp:

Hi everyone. Appreciate some help here as I am doing some research on the trend of seeking for financing for large spendings, such as when you are a home owner having to put down potentially 2 months deposit, or when you are a home owner spending thousands on renovation/furniture. For the latter, I understand some appliances have 0% instalment plans with some stores, and Maybank also has their Home Reno Loan.

Have you used any such products/financing for home rental deposit/home renovation/moving expenses, or haven't because there are other factors stopping you?

Genuine experiences only - this is not a place to bash people for taking on financing beyond their means. Thank you!
