Hotel Itinerary Help!

Hello! I will be in Iceland for 2.5 days at the beginning of November. I realize this is a short amount of time and we won’t get to experience all of Iceland but we are interested in being busy and hitting all the main spots!

I posted a very rough sample itinerary below. Please give input on must see spots that I might have missed! Also, should we plan on staying in Reykjavik both nights or potentially stay along the ring road between Hella/Vik one night instead?

Day 1 -arrive in KEF at 6am -pick up rental car -blue lagoon -check into hotel in Reykjavik -explore downtown Reykjavik -try to see Northern lights ourselves

Day 2: -Drive Ring Road toward the South Coast -Seljalandsfoss Waterfall -Skógafoss Waterfall -Black sand beach -Stay in Reykjavik OR maybe somewhere else along ring road? -try to see Northern lights ourselves

Day 3: -Golden Circle -Þingvellir National Park -Geysir Geothermal Area (erupts every 3-5 minutes) -Gullfoss Waterfall -Drive to KEF for flight
