Recording while mic & laptop audio is muted

Hi all,

I am trying to record/transcribe meetings so I can go back and do meeting minutes (company already said no to copilot). However, I have to mute my mic & laptop audio since I'll be attending these meetings in person and someone else will be sharing their screen & using their mic/sounds through the big tv in the boardroom so I didn't want my laptop audio playing at the same time.

My question is: will teams still record the audio from the meeting if everything of mine is muted? Or will it just record the screen without any sounds?

Sorry if it's a confusing question, I tried searching it but I wasnt sure if it's cause I didnt how to word it but I didn't find anything.
