Course advice?

I have IB biology second semester and I’m trying to switch it with my IB psychology from first semester because

A) I’ll have a better teacher (the one in second sem was supposed to be fired idk why she’s still here

B) my entire schedule will be more balanced out

However the guidance counselors are against accommodating for specific teachers or periods, so I’m confused on what to do…if I’m stuck with second sem bio then I’m going to get a really bad mark. Is there any way I can work around it or..?
