Florida RN by endorsement
Hi there: has anyone recently tried to apply for a Florida RN license by endorsement?
I submitted my application back in March, and my original BON (College of Registered Nurses of Alberta, Canada) sent my NCLEX exam verification electronically on August 3rd. I even received confirmation from them that the Florida BON accessed it on August 11th.
Despite this, my application still shows “exam verification” as a deficiency. Every time I call or email, I just get the same response: “exam verification missing” OR “unable to locate your exam verification.”
A bit more context:
- My original BON (Alberta, Canada) always sends exam verifications electronically as a full package (with NCLEX pass date, license info, etc.) but they do not fill out Florida-specific forms.
- I’ve been an RN for over 3 years. I’ve heard some people mention Florida now requires 3 years of RN experience before approving endorsement.
- I also hold active RN licenses in New York and Minnesota.
Has anyone else experienced delays or issues like this with Florida BON? Any advice or insight on how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
