ACF Teachers (3rd Semester) Info
DISCLAIMER FOR MODS: Umm, I know I posted something like this before, but it turns out I got some new instructors instead of what I thought I would be getting, you can remove my previous post of Professors of Doom, if u think that's crowding out the subreddit, but please don't remove this😭
Hey everyone!
I’ll be starting my 3rd semester (ACF) soon and these are the teachers I’ve been assigned:
- Abdullah Mohsin
- M. Fawad Khan
- Juvaria Tariq
- Sana Imran
- Umar Zia Uddin
- Nida Abbas
Since seniors always know the real deal, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experiences with them. Specifically, I’m curious about:
- Classroom Dos & Don’ts
- Any habits that they dislike?
- Things that can get you on their good side (participation, punctuality, etc.)
- Grading Style
- Do they grade leniently or are they strict?
- Is their marking more focused on concepts, cramming, or assignments/quizzes?
- Teaching Style
- Are their lectures engaging or mostly self-study?
- Do they stick closely to slides/books or go beyond?
- Attendance Policy
- How strict are they with attendance and participation?
- Do they allow late entries or are they particular about it?
- Survival Tips
- Any hacks to do well in their courses (specific note-taking style, focusing on past papers, active participation, etc.)
- Things to absolutely avoid in their class
I just want to have a clearer picture before the semester kicks off so I don’t mess up my grades because of avoidable mistakes. Any insights, even small ones, will really help! 🙌
Thanks in advance!
