Installed fronts not working

I have fonts installed, they show up in the font list but the faces show up as some generic font. All of these fonts are in windows preferences as well as my fonts folder.

I use these fonts in other in other programs like Office, CoralDraw, and Adobe Illustrator without problems. One of these font faces I use in my business, so I would love for it to work Inkscape. These are TT fonts.
