Is it ok to keep using small heat compress after PIO shots?

I've had my second transfer 5 days ago and was prescribed PIO instead of suppositories this time. However, PIO hurts soooo badly not to mention the huge lumps that won't go easily 😭 I'm freaking out right now because I've been using a small heat compress on my butt daily to ease the swelling, is it ok?? Btw, I always have the AC on because I'm in a crazy hot city so my body's temperature isn't that warm while using it.
