Inside needed - 2014 A4

Hey all!

I have a 2014 Audi A4 Sline 2.0T wi the Quattro drive train.

Car blew up and spent almost a year down for the count. Just got a new motor in her and she feels great for the most part but still had a slight miss. It just barely sputters when sitting in idle.

This leads me to believe that something outside of the engine block led to my misfire in my previous motor and was not fixed with the new motor being thrown in.

It is not giving me a very detailed reading on the computer. It is basically telling me I have a misfire and that’s it. Not saying what may be any of the underlying causes.

I was curious if anyone else has ran into issues like this and had any luck with any fixes?

I am thinking maybe my air system is not great. I know I have a janky cold air intake from the previous owner so thinking about a new cold air intake system (whole brand new set up) and maybe a new 02 censor.

Also thinking maybe it could be fuel system related but not certain. Not much for smoke coming out the back if any with the new motor.

At a loss with this car. It’s been my number 1 stressor the last year and I thought I finally had the issue tackled.

Sincerely hoping the wonderful world of Audi enthusiasts on here may have some insight.

Greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
