What device should I use as a beginner?

Hi,

I am just starting to get into animation and It seems a little confusing what tablet/PC/laptop I should use. The most important thing I look for is portability, so I think I am looking for a tablet, but I can't decide which one. I saw people recommend Samsung S9/10, but I also saw that It lags with bigger brushes apparently. I have an Asus zenbook UX433FAC if I, in fact, need a laptop The most I would spend on a tablet is 350 $/ 300 €.
