Smoke alarm system recs?
Our hardwired Kidde system (installed correctly and by a licensed contractor) is just complete garbage. The “10-year internal battery” one malfunctioned enough times that we replaced it with the Ring-connected one, and that one malfunctioned too. Last night a different one in a different part of the house malfunctioned, and I just cleaned all of them with compressed air a month ago when the bedroom one malfunctioned.
We just need a freaking smoke alarm system that DOESN’T TERRORIZE THE ENTIRE HOUSE AT 3AM.
Jesus. H. Christ. Do we just need to disable this entire system and go back to the battery-powered ones? At least in that scenario it’s easy to disable.
Thoughts?
