Survivor AU: Vs the World. It's been amazing but...
At first it was fan service in the best way possible but now....
I’ll say it: this season is fun but it doesn’t feel like Survivor anymore. It feels like a glossy exhibition match where the priority is “how cool would it be if Parvati makes it to FTC?” instead of, you know, actually trying to win the game.
In any normal season, Parvati would’ve been gone ages ago. She’s the threat of threats. Nobody in their right mind lets her coast this far, let alone hands her the kind of influence she’s sitting on right now. The fact that people are bending over backwards to keep her around is less “4D chess” and more “let’s all play tourist in Parvati’s Survivor legacy.”
And honestly? That makes it kinda boring. Survivor is supposed to be ruthless. It’s supposed to hurt when someone you're rooting for gets blindsided because everyone’s chasing that one million dollar win. Right now it feels like half the cast would rather just say they played with Parvati than actually beat Parvati.
Yes, the cast is stacked and yes, the season’s been entertaining. But if the whole endgame is just “Parvati’s exhibition tour,” then it’s more of a nostalgia showcase than a cutthroat competition. And don't get me wrong, I LOVE her! But this is far too easy for her. And everyone playing with her must know she's walking this. But I don't think they care...? Which is the problem I'm starting to have with this.
Am I the only one screaming at the TV like… vote her out already??
