Wizard's deal with the Dark Powers that cost their eyes

My 9th level Wizard was downed in the fight to kill Rahadin, and took a deal that removed her eyes completely, and left her with Blindsight to 50', and 2 uses of Truesight per day.

The negotiations began with the player about how to read her spellbook to prepare spells.

So I added a corollary: They also gave her a cantrip-like spell that doesn't need memorization, that is like Scholar's Touch but can be used to memorize spells from a spell book.

The kicker is that it's a 2nd level spell.

If she ever finds herself without a 2nd level spell slot, she can't ever memorize spells again.

Essentially, the cost of the resurrection and sight powers was a 2nd level spell slot, but she has to make the choice to not use that slot so she can memorize new spells.

Player is really looking forward to the final few fights with Strahd and Vampyr, and maybe having to make the choice to use one last Misty Step or Cloud of Daggers to save the party or make the kill vs. ever casting spells again.
