Inherited 7 luggages of vintage luxury pieces — need advice on where to start

Hi everyone,

I recently inherited something really special: 7 entire luggages filled with vintage luxury fashion from my Italian grandmother. The collection includes pieces from Christian Dior, Valentino, Emilio Gucci, Escada by Margaretha, D&G and more.

I feel really lucky, but also a bit overwhelmed. These are beautiful items — many from the 80s and 90s — and I want to honor them properly instead of just letting them sit in storage.

The challenge: I’m based in Uruguay, and I don’t really know the best starting point to share or eventually sell some of these pieces. I’ve looked into Grailed, Vestiaire, The RealReal, but international shipping from South America seems tricky.

For those of you who collect or sell vintage luxury:
– Where would you recommend I start?
– Is consigning (like The RealReal) better for a big collection, or should I try listing myself piece by piece?
– Any advice on preserving condition and presenting pieces online?
