New cat adopt & sleep

New to Cats/Just Adopted

Greetings everyone, I am looking to get some advice for the cat me and my spouse adopted. She is about 1.5 years old and we have had her for about 3 weeks now. A lot of the issues we have had, have gotten better but one issue we have is being able to sleep at night, we usually feed her at about 9 pm then play with her, then she only sleeps for a couple hours maybe 3, 4 if we are lucky. Then she is up from 2 -3 am and wants to come in the bedroom (1 bedroom apartment). For a while we were able to get her to chill until 6am when she’d start scratching at the door when I get up for work and open the door, then she just would sleep under the bed sometimes. But she keeps wanting to jump on the bed, we have tried ignoring her, but to little avail she just wants to be on the bed to look out the window and then she gets worked up and won’t chill. From what I understand the previous owner let her sleep on the bed which is a bit hard for us since she will scratch at the door earlier now, last night she scratched at the door at 1 am and we have carpet where she starts digging at the door. I am just looking for some advice for keeping her asleep longer, or to get her to stop clawing at the carpet at the door. We tried aluminum, sticky tape, the spray, but she just can’t stand having the door closed for too long which I’ve noticed is a common thing with cats. Also worth noting there’s no other cats in the house, just her.
