Who is he?

Name: Timothy Robert Eric Butler

Being 1/2 of Televisor. Timothy who goes under they name PYLOT at the moment spend his time taking the absolute journey of the captivating world of electronic music aka EDM. But before taking the name of PYLOT he used to go by another name in the early 2012 named Rundfunk. Before going towards the route of Synthwave he used to create your classic house and also Nu Disco.

When Timothy debuted on Monstercat he went under the name Rundfunk but he only released about 2 songs in 2012. He was absent (well busy with the Televisor project) He returned in the beginning of 2015 under the name PYLOT. With this project however he even made a name of himself for one of Monstercat best synthwave artists and the project Shadowtask EP released in 2017. Once he released that EP he went silent off the label up until the man F.O.O.L decide to have his dreams come true and finally the two beast of synthwave on the label decide to have a collab called "The Law" in 2023.

Pylot holds the record for the sixth longest duration between releases on Monstercat at 6 years, 7 months and 19 days, beating the record previously held by Throttle, and behind Teminite, Haywyre, Embliss, Excision and Nigel Good.

Shadowtask is the first Monstercat song released as Synthwave.

Me personally.........Imma tell you this. PYLOT has been my favorite artists to resist for this series like the flashbacks I be getting when listening to songs like A Race Against Time, After Dark and his EP.....man it can't be top. His creativity and adventurous style has always been pushing boundaries to my taste. Made me think that he can create a 10 minute long track like MUZZ. The Law was just an amazing comeback for him primarily because of how well his style mix with F.O.O.L catastrophic and darker sound designs. Also his album Axiom is a top 10 album of 2023 imo. PYLOT is honestly my choice as the most underrated artist on the label. But what do yall think about PYLOT. (Suprisingly I swapped him with an artist on day #250 legit last minute).
