Would going to college to study music theory be a good way to feel out where i belong in the music industry?

I have Bitwig DAW and enjoy using it.

Would simply focusing on learning the DAW vs learning music theory be beneficial?

Would going to college for this be a good way to form connections vs simply grind it out unground?

Do any of yall even recommend going to college for this?

I have education benifits to use and ive been seeing where i can use them.

Figured music might be a good area.

Any advice appreciated.

Also, i did play saxaphone all through middle school, so i am not entirely new to music theroy and sheet music. I am new to production of music though
