With Slayer Getting Polish…

Hear me out.

A point option to purchase a modified boss token akin to the awakened variants of DT2 bosses but for Slayer.

Or perhaps it gets added to a superior variant drop table as a one time consumable like the awakener orbs.

Increased health pools, higher DPS, more mechanics, etc.

I wouldn’t mind “step through” mechanics like at Yama or with lightning skipping at Levi. I’m not really getting into the meat of the design, just the concept.

Let the enhanced bosses have a stronger drop table and add a chance for the imbued heart and eternal gem.

If the token for these bosses is added to a superior variant, I know that slightly dilutes the table, so I’d propose a rework that replaces other drops with the token at a higher drop rate compared to the rares, obviously.

If you miss the rares on the superior and get a token, you can bank them and eventually save them for a sire or GG run where you get multiple shots at a possible drop with some extra XP and gp/hr from the enhanced drop table for your trouble and something to spice up the Slayer boss offerings.
