No Heat No A/C

I have a ford edge 2008, AWD, it’s a piece of junk to start out with. I am not in the place to buy or finance a new car due to many reasons. As the title states, I do not have heat or A/C. I have replaced the blend door actuators. I have coolant. But I need heat more than anything this year due to a baby on the way in February. When the car is at optimal temperature, turning on the A/C the outside temperature just comes straight in sometimes it’s lukewarm. With the heat, there is nothing. Just cold. Or whatever the outside temperature is. What is it? I’m not sure if it’s the thermostat, heater core, or what else it could be.
