Workers not working

I’ve gotten two ox and a bunch of houses, I’ve gotten storage. And suddenly the workers stop working. I thought it was storage again, so I put up another storage unit with a market and it seems to work but every time I have a solution and it seems to work they suddenly stop working again. I’m not sure what’s causing this I’ve tried everything I could think of. Any help?
