Need help with a text

So I have been working for a family for 4 years on the weekends basically every weekend of those 4 years. I went for vacation in July and haven’t heard of anything since. I did ask they just said they would let me know and didn’t need anything at the moment which isn’t normal I usually don’t go more than a week or 2 without working for them. I think I’ve been replaced or since both the kids started preschool during the week maybe they just aren’t needing me as much to save money? Idk since I did ask for a raise in April. They also haven’t been the greatest employers with communication and as you can imagine randomly going a month without the pay isn’t really great. You would think after 4 years they would just be straight up with me. How do I basically get them to admit they hired someone new or just simply don’t want me anymore I don’t want them to just get away with ghosting honestly.
