Shareable “Attitude” tracker

I’m trying to make a shortcut that my wife and I can use to track how our pets have been behaving during training using a points system. I’ve tried using data jar with each of their names and a number that would change based on their behavior e.g. “Spot” was Good so his Attitude increases by 5 but “Rover” was Bad so his decreases by 5 and I’m getting stuck at retrieving and then updating those values. I don’t even know if it’d be better to use something else.
