Doing the math situation type deal

One pound of bodyfat corresponds to 3.500 calories

Let's say Amber's ideal weight is about 110 pounds, considering her height of about 5'2''/5'3'', and let's say she won't lose any muscle mass

That means she needs to lose 550 (estimated current weight) - 110 = 440 pounds of body fat

That corresponds to 440 x 3.500 = 1.540.000 calories

Let's say she is able to eat in a caloric deficit of 500 calories per day. 1.540.000/500 = 3080 days to reach her ideal weight

3080/364,25 = 8,5 years to reach her ideal weight, assuming she will adjust her calorie intake as needed as she would be losing more weight along the way, and assuming she will never overeat/binge at all

Another interesting calculation. Let's say that a woman of her height and activity level needs to eat about 1300 calories per day to maintain an ideal weight of 110 pounds. She has an excess amount of fat on her body that equals 1.540.000 calories. That means the excess calories she has consumed over the years equal to 1185 days of a normal calorie intake, or slightly over 3 years, meaning she has eaten all her calories for the next three years already. I heard this calculation from Dr. Now on an episode of My 600 Lb Life so I wanted to make one for Amber
