Summerdance 2025!

Recent Show

Got home yesterday from Nelson's Ledges Quarry Park (NLQP). Still kinda blissed out. I miss Disc O Pizza and Althea's already.

I was fairly twisted up so I have some parts of set lists, but can't wait for the shows to go up on Nugs.

Thursday was great -- Broccoli Samurai was excellent and Pigeons absolutely killed their headliner. They made it rain set 2 and I went home to camp during Horizon.

Friday was my favorite day of music! Dogs in a Pile, Pigeons, then Lotus to headline. Absolutely biblical shows from everyone involved.

Saturday was walking day and we explored the entire campground. Lordy that place got some steps inside it. Didn't know much about the music, got wicked spun and don't remember much but Save a horse, ride a cowboy. Tim Palmieri had an awesome afternoon set I can mostly remember!

Sunday was FINALLY WARM ENOUGH TO GET IN THE WATER!! We were not alone in this sentiment. Great sets from Lotus and some covers I was very excited to hear: La Grange with Daniel Donato, then Purple Haze and also Strawberry Letter 23 in the 3-song encore.

What kind of experiences y'all had at NLQP? They have a 1.9 on TripAdvisor and most folks problems seem to be with the staff. They were great with me and mine. Never a problem, but then I'm from New York and used to lots of rules surrounding everything.
