Specialty tyre for indoor training

Hi,

New to cycling and after having an amazing summer with over 2KM riding I want to continue training indoors.

I acquired a second hand trainer, an older Tacx device which came with an orange training tyre. I tried installing and had some issues as one piece of the tyre didn’t look right. After a few attempts, I gave up.

Could I use the tyres I presently have on? They will need replacing next year anyways and I have purchased replacements already.

On a separate note, thank you for being a great bunch and I’ve used this group to educate myself on many aspects of my riding from maintenance to hydration to food and much more.
