Is RO taking weeks to approve insurance? Just so I'll pay cash instead?

I read on hear that RO has approved insurance in five days, but I just signed up and got an email it was taking weeks to approve insurance. I understand that maybe they're just busier now because that happens or are they just trying to get my money? Bc they're saying that some of the medications aren't available and I should try a different one and pay cash for it until the other ones are available and it's just so confusing. So I decided to pay cash for one so I could start right away and then wait for my insurance to be approved. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this experience or are they just trying to get my money?

Now I'm not even sure if they're going to try and approve my insurance because I opted to pay cash. I'm waiting to see if I can talk to someone.

Has anyone else paid cash first and waited for Insurance to get approved?
