Do I need a FFB wheel for trucking sims?

So I'm getting interested in trucking sims recently and wanted to pick up a budget wheel. My current options are the PXN v900 Gen 2 or the Thrustmaster T128 which both are in my budget. But I'm just curious if FFB is needed to get started. Thanks
