Sleeper API Issue - Fetching Player IDs

I'm building a few tools using the Sleeper API that will let leagues pull weekly data and run their own league updates outside of the app using AI, email, etc. but have hit a snag. In order to identify players on each team's roster every week, you need to match that player ID with the master list. The Sleeper API docs have a call to fetch the full list with IDs and other data, but unfortunately the data (at least as of today) is outdated. For example, it includes info and a player ID for Tony Romo, but doesn't have Jared Goff.

It's impossible to build anything useful without the updated player ID key. Anyone in here work at Sleeper and can advise? Or maybe there's another way to get the player ID key?
