Trading experience analysis onchain

Hello,

I'm considering to test hyperliquid for some perp trading to compare pros/cons VS solana or CEXes but I'd like to have more info.

I have understood I need to bridge USDC to the chain, connect to https://app.hyperliquid.xyz/trade and trade.

I have also understood that compared to solana defi apps using hyperliquid should avoid many of their problems.

Can a perp trader or anyone knowledgeable share his experience, comparing

1. costs (between bridging, trading commissions, funding fees, transaction fees, spread, etc)

2. performance

3. dangers (slippage, no market depth -> failed trades & manipulable volatility that leads to "wrong" liquidations, blocked funds, errors, etc)
