When companies insult their customer base's intelligence by counting on brand loyalty rather than quality

Ultra Annoyed

This is in cases where quality went down or they changed a classic recipe (which usually results in worse quality) like when chocolate companies replace cocoa butter with vegetable oil or like how Doritos clearly changed their recipe. It's not just the recipe change itself that peeves me (though it does irk me), it's the fact they either think customers are too stupid to notice or that they do notice but will continue buying their products out of brand loyalty even if they don't taste good anymore.
