Where to start?
I have the food/nutrition part down, my relationship with food is finally at a healthy place, although I’d like to lose a few pounds.
But I struggle so much with exercise, I used to work in healthcare so, I’d average like 15k steps a day, and now that I work from home, I have a desk treadmill where I get in 10k steps a day as well.
But other than that I’ve been sedentary my entire life, didn’t play sports as a kid, didn’t really move.
So now that I’m 22, an adult…I struggle a lot with exercising, simply because I don’t have the strength to do simple workouts. 5lbs on my Upper body is tough for me, even 5lbs,
I can’t figure out correct form for the life of me. I always end up injuring myself, I’ve watched dozens of YouTube videos, I’ve asked people I know etc, a personal trainer is not option due to finances right now.
I have a planet fitness membership, I haven’t been in 2 years but I’ve been thinking about biting the bullet and start going early in the morning to the gym, should I just start with machines? Or should I start with bodyweight exercises.
I honestly don’t know where to start, but what I do know is that I can’t give up on my dream of becoming fit and exercising.
