Plush toy 'made in china' written on bag 20% or 50% tariff?

I will be ordering some plush toys in the next few days and I am trying to figure out if I will be required to pay 20% (Japan) or 50% (China) tariff?

I was also considering ordering on tenso since I can use my own credit card. It does not seem like they are offering free storage during this time like buyee and only EMS is suspended to the USA. There is no rush on these items but I want to get them before they go out of stock.

Is there a 'safer' shipping method for avoiding the china tariff between DHL and EMCS?

Would it be better to use buyee and just pay the currency conversion mark up and use buyee air or EMS when it comes back?
