Ensnare

I recently started playing the game and I realized after having to look up tutorials for help sometimes I'm missing Ensare. I've completely solved the quest that is supposed to unlock it but the only thing is I didn't rest after it so it didn't unlock. Does anyone know what I can do to trigger it? I've tried resting in random shelters but that hasn't worked. Is this a glitch that I can't really do anything about?
