How long should I realistically wait after having a reaction to donate again?

I am not deferred. I had a reaction on Saturday (blood pressure dropped) and was asked if I wanted them to call 911. I declined (wasn't gonna pay thousands of dollars for a 4 block trip to a hospital for an extra bag of saline)

I ate breakfast, but waited a couple of hours before going to the center. I'm thinking a quick snack before leaving would have been wise

I have had reactions before, but this one seemed to last longer. When I came through it, I was fine and drove myself home (7 minutes drive)

Previously, I have skipped 2 donations after a reaction.

Is there any benefit to that? I'm inclined to not skip because I'm trying to earn some vacation money for a trip in 2 weeks. Wondering what other would do in this situation
