Lancer 2008 Front Bumper Lip Strut Bars?

For the modded lancer, would you install an extra thin lip (yellow) first between (under) the existing, and then add a rod on each side connecting to the old number plate area, or use the green/red areas instead? After some research i am still unsure... Any help would be much appreciated! It's purely cosmetic, but also don't want it to fly off while driving. https://imgur.com/a/OOPETAI
