Switching between chat styles to see if the bot is actually written well.
This is probably a weird question, but I’m genuinely curious, as I catch myself doing this quite often.
How many of you switch through the chat models before coming to the conclusion that it’s not any of the chat styles that are making the RP less enjoyable, but it’s just the way the author wrote the bot and its definition? And for those who do, how many models do you switch between before realizing that it’s just the way the bot is written and programmed by the author? I would say for me, personally, it’s usually 3, just to make sure I’m giving this author’s bot a chance before deleting it (usually between deepsqeak, nyan, or dynamic). Sometimes I do wish that it IS the styles being buggy, but sometimes I have had to let go of bots with good plots, simply because of how the author wrote their definitions. No amount of CAI+ and switching chat styles will make some of these bots get better or write longer, thats just how some of them are because of the authors, unfortunately 😭
