AITA for refusing to go on a second date with a guy because I found out he was an amputee?

I (24F) went on a date with this guy (27M), let’s just call him Alex. We met online and he seemed normal, funny, and actually pretty cute in his pictures. We talked for a couple of weeks before meeting up.

When I finally saw him in person, I was honestly shocked. He didn’t have a right leg. He was walking with a prosthetic. He never mentioned this to me before, not once. Found out that the dude lost his leg after a skateboarding accident.

Call me shallow or whatever but it was a turn-off for me. I just wasn’t expecting it and it felt like he hid something really important. If I had known beforehand, I probably wouldn’t have gone on the date.

After our date he texted me asking when we could hang out again, and I told him I didn’t feel a spark. He kept asking why until he finally said, “Is it because of my leg?” I didn’t answer but yeah… it was.

Now my friend is saying I’m awful and shallow, but I feel like it’s not wrong to have preferences and also to want someone to be upfront about stuff like this.

So… AITA?
