Christianity is a mental disease
First, consider the Christian response to the sacking of Rome by Alaric. The Christians were at most indifferent to it, and even satisfied that God's plan was being fulfilled (even all those years ago they still use that same apathetic phrase of "God's plan"). They didn't care at all about their own empire was being destroyed. Just imagine the level of mind sickness you need to have to think that way, Rome had not been sacked for 800 years and you may be in the crosshairs of a military invasion. For the Romans at the time this was the apocalypse, and it actually was because the consequences of collapse were the dark ages.
Secondly, it's apparent that Christianity has no real difference from Islam. When Christians were a minority, they acted as though they were "being persecuted" in order to attract sympathy from naive Romans. This is the exact same strategy that Islam uses. Then, what did the Christians do when they gained power? They destroyed the traditional Roman pagan religion that had lasted for centuries, even destroying cultural artifacts and temples, then built their churches directly on top of the temples as a display of dominance. They did the same thing much later on against other European pagans too. Christians love to exterminate cultures just like the Muslims who blow up centuries old statues of Buddha.
