Do you think its hypocrisy?

I was on talk with my mother on my phone and she told me one of my cousins who is overweight just rejected a guy with well respected occupation because of his height. Now my cousin has one of the most respected profession as well. Like my mother always tells me she ain't gonna get rishtas because of her weight. She is rich and earns well but she refuses to let go of her weight. I told my mother she is no position to demand height herself with how she refuses to stand on weighing scale. My mother got pissed off. Then i told her would you keep if someone rejected me for height(i am a manlet)

Few months ago my mother showed me a picture of a guy who was way out of her league and said he initiated rishta so its almost done now. Told my mother that cousin probably fooled him through photos and it ain't gonna happen. She got pissed off at me. And told me not everyone is shallow like me who go for looks. And result guy just ghosted her.kek
