I’m planning on moving to Ghana w my Ghanaian partner and our 4 pets. I’d love to hear from people here who can share real-life advice and experiences. Specifically, I’m curious about:

Jobs – what’s the market like, and how do expats usually find work?

Cost of living – groceries, transport, utilities, day-to-day expenses.

Renting a house – average rent prices, what to expect when house-hunting, and how renting works in Ghana (any upfront payments, agents, etc.).

Safety – general safety tips and which areas are considered more secure.

Community & friends – how do newcomers usually meet people and make friends?
