Democrats are incapable or unwilling to fix crime in their cities

Of the top 25 cities on this list, only one has a republican major - Dallas - and he was twice elected as a Democrat prior to switching.

It is plainly evident that the democratic party is engaged in a tightrope walk politically between having to be loyal to a far-left contingent that thinks criminal justice is racist and heavyhanded, and sane people that know that our densely populated urban areas require far more policing and a much more strict enforcement and incarceration policies in order to keep people safe.

While crime has gone down nationally (Trump effect!) it is still wildly unacceptable to have our urban centers in this condition. Society never shoudlve accepted the insane soft on crime policies and revolving door in and out of prisons for people that have shown repeatedly that they are a threat to public safety.

Democrats, unsurprisingly, are still siding with the wrong people and in doing so, literally getting people killed.

The use of the national guard in DC has not only proven to be effective, it has shown the residents there that they don't have to live in fear on a daily basis. You don't have to be harassed by mentally deranged vagrants. And it's sad that the left would rather subject their own voting constituencies to the same vile social decay that has made parts of our cities no-go zones for decades.
